For years, Gecko's Bar & Tapas, the first gastropub in Nob Hill, has been a favorite haunt with locals, the college crowd and sports fans. Gecko's is the place to stop before or after an Isotopes game. It's a great place to catch a game on TV (we've got 8, 7 in hi def). The patio is a great place to relax, hangout, people watch, and enjoy drinks and great food with friends. If you can't stay, get some good eats to go. Gecko's innovative menu features some of the finest bar food in all of Albuquerque, taking old standards like burgers and appetizers to the level of sublime. In December of 2006, Gecko's opened a second venue in the Northeast Heights, which serves up the same signature food along with delicious desserts; on Tuesday nights, try a side of karaoke. Live music fans can catch The The Daddy Os every third Wednesday of the month and Chris Kill every first Wednesday at the Academy location.
