It's time to root, root, root for the Isotopes. Gecko's is a great place to stop and grab a bite and a beer before or after the game.

For years, Gecko's Bar & Tapas, the first gastropub in Nob Hill, has been a favorite haunt with locals, the college crowd and sports fans. It's a great place to catch a game on TV (we've got 11) or make a pre- or post- Lobos game stop. The recently expanded patio is a great place to relax, hangout, people watch, and enjoy drinks and great food with friends. If you can't stay, get some good eats to go. Gecko's innovative menu features some of the finest bar food in all of Albuquerque, taking old standards like burgers and appetizers to the level of sublime. In December of 2006, Gecko's opened a second venue in the Northeast Heights, which serves up the same signature food along with delicious desserts; on Tuesday nights, try a side of karaoke. Thursday, November 29th, (and every Thursday thereafter) Gecko's on Academy hosts the Geeks Who Drink authentic pub trivia quiz.
